From these pictures can you tell what might be missing from this BP mill?

Looks like a bunch of the quill feed and feed trip parts are missing from the head as well as the depth screw (not sure of the official name) and stop nuts.
Also the table locks.

It looks to me like it was in the process of being changed to a CNC and they gave up on it. In that case, it would be worth contacting the seller and seeing if the missing parts are in a box somewhere. I do see a quick-acting quill feed handle in the box on the table.
It may be just the photo, but it looks like it has a small table. Standard is 42", and that one looks smaller.
I recently picked up one in better shape for free, so consider that the base price for this one. It is a project for sure.

Marketplace ad states it was a spare/parts for a machine shop but they know nothing about it, price is $700.

I don't know what they go for where you are but I might might might take a chance on it for that price. But it looks like there's some rust on Z so it may need a bit of work to be a good machine. Doesn't mean it can't make parts and if you call get the missing stuff for cheap, it might be worth it.

Aside from what Michael already mentioned it's been missing proper attention for some time now (left under a tarp outside?). The head doesn't match the body and when it's in "party colors" you can bet it's been cobbled together from different machines. The missing bits attest to the salvage aspect with a different BP getting the missing bits. The rust present on the table and the ram isn't a good sign either and neglect is evident. This doesn't mean it's junk either, it depends upon what you want it to do. I'd be real careful about how the bearings sound with a swapped out head, look for excessive play in the lead screws and the table/saddle ways (although the way can be adjusted somewhat).
Do you know how to check for all these things?
If the bearings are noisy, the lead screws have more than .050 slop/wear, or the ways are loose then it isn't worth $700 IMO. Prices always have to be adjusted per the area you're in but I'd sooner get a $1200 mill that requires less work if you want to use it soon. If you want a project and can get it for $300 then it might be worth the work. Tearing down a BP for rebuild/repaint isn't real difficult but it isn't an easy task or a cheap one either. JMO
