The clock spring is contained in the housing you took the bolts off of, but there can also be a center bolt/screw on some of the handle types that must also be removed.
Depending on the age of your Bridgeport, there are 2 clock spring types. It will either have a "buttonhole" in the small end of the spring that attaches to a ramped catch on the quill shaft, or a 90* bend that goes in to a slot on the end of the quill shaft. The latter type comes out easily. The buttonhole type need to be rotated in the opposite of winding direction until the smaller hole of the buttonhole disengages and can them be popped off the ramp catch through the larger hole of the buttonhole. Then the housing can slide right out. Be careful because if it is still attached and you pull the housing out too far, the clock spring can come unwound. They are nigh-on impossible to put back in.
