Briggs jerry can spout replacement?

EZ Pour is the answer!
Okay - no responses but I did manage through to an answer and will post it here for others. I bought the EZ Pour nozzles and hoped that they would work.
EZ Pour nozzles do work on the Briggs jerry cans. You end up with a really good can with this solution. I will likely add vents to the cans (schrader tire valves with cores removed). I saw this on a youtube a couple of years ago on how to vent cans without vents. EZ Pour makes the yellow vents but I am a little uncertain how they might work in a metal can.
I ordered two of EZ Pour universal fit nozzle kits, one with an extension. Also ordered two of their "gray" solid caps and they fit the cans perfectly. I discovered the universal kits threads on the larger yellow collars were too tight and went to the FAQ on the EZ Pour website to investigate. I found a note there to let them know if the yellow collar was too tight and they'd send me a collar that would fit later Briggs cans. I sent them an email via their website and two days later I got two collars in the mail. Unbelievable customer service and I will definitely buy from them again.
Here a few photos. The extended pour nozzle can be shortened by simply unscrewing the extension. The POS nozzle that came with the can next to the EZ Pour shows the problem. The government mandated nozzle leaks like a sieve and is very dangerous to say the least. When it is stored in the can with fuel as designed, it blows gasoline out of the can as the can warms up. Its butterfly valve simply doesn't seal and the nozzle tip is below the liquid level when it is stored and any small pressure buildup in the can will blow gas out. If you use the POS nozzle you should only fill the can to about 65% full.
Problem solved and good cans now in hand.

Okay, just so you know. The schrader valve vent does work. And it works really well, for a year or so. Then they melt,and fall apart. So put em where they're easy to replace, or rig those motorcycle tube threaded ones or something. Yep, it seems like the govt. is always trying to fix everything till it doesn't work at all. There's no way to stop vapors from coming out, don't care what you do. The gas going in the tank pushes the vapor out! Gimme a dam vent, so the gas doesn't chug. End rant.
Ken, thanks for the feedback. Looks like a steel schrader may be in in order.
I thought about these vents as well and have a couple of extra and sealer that I bought from EZ Pour. They use a 1/2" hole and if they don't work, I could always put the gutted steel schrader valve in.

Don't know which you have, but EZ Pour also makes a high flow version that I have on my 5 gallon plastic cans.

I just take a cover from a 50 gallon drum and weld in a 1/2 ****** or screw in if it has a threaded fitting and then put a ball valve and another ****** and hose I also sand a tapper in a piece of cut off broom handle and use to plug the end.
