I am in the process of building a 32x64' garage/workshop/storage building. The 1/2 that will be workshop will have a coated floor. I want to use a bright red floor coating. I do not have water at this property as of yet, so I am looking for a coating with minimal prep required...floor was power trowel finished with NO sealer applied (very smooth). I hope to be able to clean and apply coating, but I would be able to haul in pales of water to rinse if required. I think something like Rust Bullet would work with minimal prep, but I'm not sure if it comes in RED (not brick red...Fire Engine RED).

Shop will be used for light hobbyest mechanical on motorcycle, snowmobile, etc. No welding...mostly parking and "monkeying around" with my Big Boy's Toys.

Thoughts?

I wanted something bright red as well and eventually settled with a tile red. My suggestion would be to find the color you want in a flake and then do 100% coverage over the epoxy.

I know bright red epoxy is available...below is my current floor bought from Hirschfield's, a paint store here in Minnesota. I want something similar, but I'm not using flakes this time...solid red. Just looking for something that doesn't require as much prep because of the lack of water at the site.

Sorry about the car in the photos...I don't have any of just the floor.
