Bring in the garage conduit

I have buried 1 1/4" conduit to install a 50A subpanel between the house and detached garage. I will bring the conduit inside through LB boxes.

What do I do on the inside? In other words, what is the proper way to direct to wires to the mainpanel and to the subpanel? PVC conduit? Metal? Flexible?

I used sperate THWN conductors which must be in conduit all the way to the panel. Used the same plastic conduit that is in the ground.

Bring the conduit up the outside wall and LB directly into the back of the panels. Ziptie the wire from your rods up the conduit into the back of the garage panel as well.

That's what I did....I got lucky and could mount the power panel directly against where the outside LB could penetrate the wall....I used hole saw to cut hole in lower corner of back of panel and screwed the LB straight into the panel.

I don't know what your local code dictates, but if you cannot feed directly into the panel like me, I'd play it safe and run it in conduit all the way to panel.

Thank you all for the suggestions. Unfortunately I have not found a good solution to this.

The panel is in the basement against a foundation wall, sub grade, sonitbis not possible to come into the back of the panel.

The lb enters the side of the house above the panel between the floor joists. There is no combination of preformed PVC that will get it to the panel. Heating and forming PVC would be a real PITA.

Is the a flexible conduit solution?

If a factory 1.25" pvc 90 was glued into the LB how far in front of the panel's knockout would it end up?

Would cutting the factory 90 down some get you there? How about putting some 2x behind the panel to bring it out more? Or both?

Here is a picture of the conduit and panel.

How about this. Replace the last 90 degree bend with a 45. That would run vertically down into a separate junction box. Then metal conduit horizontally to the main panel. The metal conduit and box would be grounded by being connected to the panel.

Use a piece of sealtight conduit with proper connectors. Easier to pull wire and it will look better than an abortion of cut up PVC. Keep it simple.
