Yup this is what happens when you use cheap HF tools

Although the nice roll up case of wrenches served me well past few years how on basic motorcycle maintenance small upgrades on newer cars but how is it possible that I can strip the box end of a 15mm wrench??? I am not that strong

also broke 3 impact sockets all when trying to pull out a transmission today.

good thing i have my 20 year old craftsman sets no issues with those. So much for a nice complete set I guess the cheap stuff is good for the handy home owner 1st and last time I will use that for real projects.

Thought I would share if I can find the broken tools I will snap some photos I pitched them across the room :Violent:

While I am no fan of HF tools, one tough bolt can break the best of the best. At work one day we broke every 1/2 breaker bar in the shop. One guy was doing a ball joint job and the nut on the lowers was tight and rusted. We started with my snap on breaker bar, its the longest one. It did one side, it broke on the other. All four of our breaker bars broke! Luckily when the last craftsman gave up........the nut came loose with it! Gotta hand it to my grey peumatic socket though.......it still looks like new!

The t-55 torx bit is another one we murder at work. Used on chevy pickup brakes. They get stuck quite a bit. All the guys have 2, me and one other guy have 4 each! We have broke 12 in one day! Yes we were using heat...........I try not to heat a brake caliper, but sometimes you have to get it apart. After 2 bits get broke I go for the heat!
