Broke a piece

Making a brass hammer for my Pops for Father's Day and broke a piece on my 12" Craftsman lathe. I was tightening the upper cross feed swivel plate and heard a pop. Finished the piece and then tore down to see what happened.

Anybody have one they would like to sell? It's part number 10-302 from a craftsman 101.07403.

Pricey - I found the whole upper compound on eBay for $90. Just seeing what is out there.

I'd say consider yourself lucky you can even buy one. I wish it were that easy for every machine tool.

If its s Craftsman badged Atlas, many parts are available on Ebay-probably a bit more reasonable than the Sears replacement part.

I also picked up a full set of change gears for my 1918 South Bend.
Thinking about throwing the Craftsman up for sale as soon as she is fixed.
