Is that an S model? Is the revision only applicable to S series?

S= 1/2 drive ratchets. Thats probably an SLF80 or SHLF80. The 1/2 drive ratchets are the only ones that have been changed. They not only made the screws go in from the top side of the ratchet, they are also bigger screws.

that gets done here often enough i just keep rebuild kits in stock, two for the half inch and three for the 3/8. the 3/8 are snap on and mac's and yes they both break screws and various other parts. keep the good screw when you get it rebuilt so when it breaks again you can replace it.

first time i saw the new 'A' models i thought ''what an ugly ratchet''. still don't like the look of those two big screws on the back. but an ugly tool that gets the job done is better than a pritty tool that leaves ya disappointed.
