I snapped off a 10mm bolt on our 2012 caravan when removing it to install a new trailer hitch. It was one of five existing bolts that you are just to remove and reintall with the hitch in place. It became extremely hard to turn and broke about half way out. I got some ideas from this form. Will let you know what works later.
