Broken Angle Grinder

Hi, anyone ever broke the spindle on an angle grinder? I've got a 10 amp Dewalt that I did that on, running a 4" cup brush. I tried drilling and using a screw extractor and snapped the extractor off. Anyone fixed this problem before or am I wasting my time? thanks

Can't say I've ever seen one fail in that manner, but I usually consider them disposable and just get a new one when issue arise.

Do you have a picture of the damage? I repair angle grinders quite a bit and have seen my fair share of basket cases.
