Broken bandsaw guide

Ryobi 9" band saw, the blade guide borke and is no longer available to purchase. Need to fabricate one to replace it. Anyone had to similar?

Pics would help 1000x. I'm going to WAG that some flat bar and a couple of welds, drill and tap holes and you're back in business. There's also the option of going to "V" guides like bigger saws but thats somewhat more involved.

I would look through Grainger, McMaster, or something similar. A lot of bandsaw blades are of a mixed Bronze alloy and tough as hell.

Here are two photos of guide, the broken part sits like 45 degrees on the other piece. White metal. the second show the broken joint at top edge,
