Broken M6x1 grease fitting

I broke off the head of a M6x1 grease fitting. I bought the "small" extraction tool to try and pull the stem but it's smaller. I've only seen 1/8" or 1/4"-27 extraction/tap tools. Anyone know how to repair?

Can you tape a barely-larger torx bit in it and thread it out? Or maybe use a LH drill bit?

Left hand drill bit would be my suggestion, or a smaller extractor

The square style extractors can sometimes work to get them out

We have always used torx bits for removing broken grease fittings. Usually takes more effort getting them off of the torx bit than removing them.
