I'll bet you can get a brand new latch ASSEMBLY from Sears. They are normally easy to change...just drill out and replace the rivets. You may want to order those new from Sears too.

Uh-oh...just realized that I don't know if this is metal or plastic. My response was geared for metal.

Good luck!

Waterloo Industries made your toolbox for Sears. They should be able to help you with any parts you need.

Email waterloo.... far cheaper and easier to deal with. I just had to get a couple of parts for a Craftsman box.

Take a chisel, and on the inside of the box, chisel off the back of the rivet and it should pop right out if u take a pin punch and hammer it out. You could do this with a hammer and chisel or you could use an air hammer with a chisel attachement. You could bolt it back on if you do not want to mess with blind rivets because imo, they are a pain. I would just get the new latch and drill out the holes a little bit bigger and put on grade 8 bolts
