Broken Wilton Vise Advice

I purchased a used Wilton Vise for $50 and it has a cracked base. I think this is a 645 type but I don't know for sure. I'm trying to decide between having the base welded, trying to find one that isn't broken, and just bolting it down without the swivel.

Could anyone provide insight into what I actually have and advice on how to proceed with a repair?

The pictures below are after I took it apart earlier today. I'm planning to clean it up and repaint it.

I think you need a couple more posts for pics to show.

If it has two holes to just bolt it down I'd do that. If only one hole I would not. Is the crack actually affecting anything and how hard are you going to be using it?

Hmm...I gave an imgur link to my images. I wasn't sure how to directly insert them.

I looked at the base and there is actually only one hole, so bolting the vise without the swivel would be hard. The crack gets torqued wider when the swivel lock is engaged. If all four bolts in the swivel are solidly anchored it may not be a problem.

Know anybody who can play a weld down? Or have a school with a metal shop nearby?

Don't know a welder but there is a Community College in town, I could ask there. Also a few welding shops, not sure what they would charge. I'll bring it by to see.
