I built the shop in 04-05 so I have been moved in for a while. I collect oil and gas stuff, and some aviation, so the place is getting full. It is a Mueller building, 30 x 40 with 10 ft sidewalls. I had the spray foam insulation installed, then I went back and wired it , and added sheetrock, painted white. Friend keep giving Me posters, signs, etc, so the walls are about covered. All the bikes in the pics are mine, although I do some outside work. Here are some signs I have....

Recently finished this 79 Yamaha 650 Street Tracker. Still gonna put on different tires and a fork brace. And last week, a "new" 71 Triumph 650 Tiger.

Is that a Garand hanging from the ceiling?

The two rifles hanging from the ceiling are from Iwo Jima. My Dad spent 30 plus days there as a 17 year old marine Sniper. They are Model 38 Arisaka, with the intact markings....I also have the Fatigue jacket he wore hanging there, they were in a closet but i figured, what the hell bring them out. I have quite a few South Pacific souvenirs Dad brought back. He was very severly injured when he was 18 and was buried with Japanese shrapnel still in His legs, at 68.

Thank you.
I did not even notice the l/h rifle till you mentioned it in your reply. I bet your Dad had a fair few stories to tell.

Great space:thumbup:

Bronson...I learned to ride on a Honda Mini-trail! My goodness I loved that little bike...my boy is going on three and I am looking for one to teach him to ride on. I saw one at a pawn shop not long ago, went home to grab some cash and it was gone before I got back. Thanks for posting that.

Shaun, I lost a bunch of them, before I got this one, in a thousand pieces. The later years are not too hard to find. I wanted a 69 because that is what I learned to ride on. By the time I finished it, I had almost $4000 in it. I turned down ridiculous money for it at a bike show.....Yes, Your Boys NEED one!

Mine was a 1970 model that I got when I was 9. Gold with white trim. Couldn't kill it. That thing got handed down to my little brother, then sold off to another family, handed down again, etc. Rugged, fun little bikes.

Cool (museum) garage!

Our cat loves to sneak around in the garage, but I doubt she would ever dare to jump up on the seat:) All the cats in the neighbourhood runs for their life when I fire up the bikes:)
How do you like the torque evener/ cushion drive on that beautiful '46 chief ?

I'm restoring a '47 chief at the moment, and have access to a torque evener(the factory version, not the powerflow(?) accessory).

Hi Chief! I was amazed when I finally rode the bike for the first time. I guess I expected a rough and jerky ride. It is really smooth, and comfortable, at highway speeds. Almost as smooth as My Electra-Glide. It sure takes some concentration, operating spark advance with left hand, throttle right, clutch with the foot, and brake with other foot! I love it. Got pics of Your 47? I would love to see them!
