is how this Wilton vise was described. The seller wanted $65 but I was able to get him down to $55. I figured this would be a great project for me and my kids to clean up and put back into use. I currently have another Wilton bullet that needs cleaning too but I'm waiting for my little "Assistants" to get out of school for summer. Even though it has rust, I'm amazed at how smooth it still operates. Just wanted to share because I thought the title to the ad was funny and when I clicked on it, this Wilton popped up.

Question: Are these jaws original to the vise?

I'm sure your conscious must be bothering you so tell ya what, send me the vise , I'll send you the 55 bucks and it will be like you never took advantage of the situation, you'll feel much better.

Great buy. My 4" from the same era have the identical jaws. I don't have a picture of the jaws but here is my vise.

Nice find! The "patent pending" designation indicates it is a very early model. The ribbed jaws and acorn nuts on the swivel bolts are correct for that period.
