I've always wanted a small shear to use for cutting aluminum sheet off coil stock. The other month I noticed an ad for just such an animal, it was priced at $350.00. Too much for me. A few days ago I noticed that the same ad had come down to $250.00. That meant to me that he was willing to negotiate so I called [texted] and said I was interested and that I would pay between $100.00 to $200.00 depending on condition. He said we could work something out. I drove out in my 1977 f250 with the 460. It's a gas guzzler. Round trip used $40.00 of fuel. But I like it. Anyways, I looked at it and it needs a cleaning and the blades could use a sharpening but it's usable as is. I bought it for $150.00. At the same time I picked up two chain boomers, 4 c-clamps ranging in size from 3" to 10", a 3/4 hp electric motor, and a bunch or copper 1/4" copper tube, all for $20.00.
