Hi, the shop at the school I teach in discarded two of these machines many years ago. I grabbed one since I'm a bit of a packrat, and I can't bear to see an old machine go to the scrapper.
It is fairly complete, but I will have to make a handle for it, and weld up a depth stop handle. I've had this machine for about 20 years, and am only now getting around to figuring it out. I plan to take it totally apart and clean up the castings, which are a bit crude. Then repair the broken depth stop handle, make a new apron handle, and put it into service.
My question is, what are these most useful for?
Also, does anyone have a parts diagram for it?
A manual would also be useful, since I'm not sure what the levers and knobs are intended to do. I've never used one of these machines before.
Thanks,
Troy
