Anyone have a brunner?
I got this for 20.00 on craigslist as a scrap unit.
All it needed was a cut off switch. Got one NOS on ebay.

Just primed it & added safety valve & did some piping. 100psi cut off. No regulator because I run all my tools at 100psi.
Anyone have info on Brunner?

Interesting badging. Doubt it came out of a Sunoco plant. (Probably a NASCAR fan). I worked for Sunoco (recently renamed). The machines in the refineries are a bit larger, 5,000 hp plant air multi pinion centrifugal, up to a 33,000 hp axial. A couple little ones for backup generator starting.

I pumped gas at a Getty & Sunoco staton when I was 13 yrs old. I had the decals & decided to stick them on. It brings back memories of the old gas station days.... Turned 41 & still love the memories.. The sound of the compressor also sounds like the larger compressor back in the day.. The simple things in life

The pump strongly resembles an Emglo/Jenny K series. Maybe it replaced the original pump?

Yes, good eye, it's a Emglo pump & Westinghouse motor. Has been updated a few times before I got it. The tank is. 1956
