Brush replacement for PC belt sander

I have a PC 352Vs Type 3 belt sander nearly 30 years old . I need to replace the brushes but the part "P848545" is not available . If I could find just the brush/wire leads I may be able to solder them to the old housing .
Anyone know a source for such an item ?
The old brushes are 9.3 x 6.1 x 16.3 MM

ACE hardware carries , or at least used to carry, universal brushes in their nut and bolt bins in the metal drawers.

Find some "close" but oversized and sand them down to fit. That's a fairly common solution for hard-to-find brushes.

I keep a store of very large brushes. Just file them down to whatever size I need. They are easy to work with. And way faster than trying to find the original parts.

so far I haven't found a brush whose size is even close to what I need .
