I never used the set.. Never knew they had one. I bought the sockets individually. Mainly I used the 33mm but with the stud piloted (old budd) I used the square drive, bone wrench, and the regular socket. Dont remember the size. I only have the 33mm now.

I guess for 116 you cant go wrong but in my opinion when do you work on those little Isuzu's? Maybe I was just in the wrong place to never have touched one.

What exactly is a budd socket? Are they mainly on heavy duty trucks and equipment?

A budd socket is used on heavy truck wheel lugs and studs. The outter wheel is held on with a nut and inner with the stud.

Only draw back to the 2-in-1 socket design such as the ones in the set is that if the stud is sticking out too far, the socket will wanna grab both the nut and stud at the same time. I have run into this problem before, and had to use the seperate 13/16 square drive socket and 1-1/2" socket.

X2. To add the combo socket wont grab the short budd stud.
