Very happy to have broken ground on my 26x36x12 detached garage. Wish I could have gone 28x36 but I'll take what I can get. Land locked between road frontage and septic df.
My dad was a vietnam vet and was such a loving father and friend to many. He would literally give you his last dime and thanks to him I will get to build my dream garage.
Dad passed away in december last year and it has afforded us a nice down payment on this garage. I just picked up a very nice Forward 9klb lift used for $1200. I plan to have that installed before summer is out if all goes well!
My dad's name was Buddy so the garage will be named after him because I plan to help provide some assistance to those in the community that need help because he would want that. I also hope to make a little side money here and there putting in clutches or doing ****** swaps. I've done a few clutches and trannies on the ground so this should be a great upgrade for someone in their mid 40's and beginning to get tired of laying under cars! Just finished this shadow box that also will be moved into the space once it's finished. Dad always sat with me in the garage while I worked. I loved spending time with him doing that and his memorial will be in there to always remind me that he's there with me in spirit! I sure miss him and this won't replace having him here but I think he'd be proud of how we are using what was gifted to us upon his passing! Buddy's garage est. 2021! Love and miss you pop.
