I am very confused about Budget Bob's coating. I know they are not selling Wolverine, so what is it they have listed on eBay? Is it National Polymer?

Anyone know? Would like to hear, because I am about to pull the trigger on their 3 gallon 100% solids epoxy.

It's from NPI...

Doing your garage floor is a lot of work. There is a certain element of trust that you need to have with your supplier. You need to know that they know what they are doing and that they will be there for you. You need to know that they are financially sound to take care of you if something should go wrong.

NPI does not and will not be there to help you. That is why companies must put their own label on the products and not the label of NPI. This is the business model of NPI and the lack of liability allows them to sell products to middlemen at a lower price than if they had any responsibility. Our technology is far superior to the products sold by Budgetbob. We don't have anything negative to say about NPI or their business model.

However, all of the liability for your project falls to Budgetbob Company. What do you know about them?

There are a ton of 'companies' who sell products made by others. There are also a huge percentage of these companies that are being run by unreliable people. Some of these people aren't even old enough to go to a prom yet. Buying your product from a computer savy teenager doesn't help you when something goes wrong. Would you really want to trust your garage floor to a teenager? Your experience is only going to be as good as the people on the other end of those computers! Don't get me wrong... I started my life as an orphan and have had little businesses to make money all of my life. And, when the neighborhood kid comes to my house and wants to earn money I'm going to do my best to hire him. But, I'm going to limit my trust to anyone based on their experience and life stage. In other words, he might get to mow grass and trim bushes but he's not going to build me a second story deck.

I want to stress that you really need to know who you are dealing with. Are they are real company with a Federal Tax ID? Do they carry liability insurance and how much? Who runs their company? How much experience do they have? Who is going to be there for you when something goes wrong?

Do your research!!!

Sound like you have an ax to grind with Budget Bob. Is it because the son decided to buy from someone else?

I know you think your product is the best but please, that wasn't the question. Give it a rest.

NPI is a reputable company. We have and still use some of their products. And guess what, it had their label on it. They never forced us to use our own label and their customer service is outstanding.

I'm not sure how I can make my feelings about NPI any clearer. My warnings are not about NPI...

The 'son' is the 'grandson'... and... since they already posted this publicly on here I'll remind you that he didn't decide to buy from someone else. We just couldn't trust a minor to represent our company.

sounds like age discrimination to me

Yeah... we're just big 'ol meanies... lol... ever heard of the big bad 'Federal Government' ?

Not only can we not legally sell chemicals to a minor but we are responsible for any chemical we produce from 'cradle to grave'.
