I took a double sink vanity out of my bathroom and installed it in the garage.
I used a "french cleat" to mount it.
The ceiling fan in the picture came out of one of the bedrooms.

Clever install.

What would happen if you put it in upside down? Would it still work?

Nice my garage currently has my old kitchen cabinets and they work just fine. A+ for execution of the desk use.

Ingenious method of lifting the cabinet, but those top drawers are going to be hard to access. ;)

I have hinges for the drawer fronts, so I might make them open UP. I don't know what I can put in such a short space though.

I did think about installing upside down, but I was lazy about making a good bottom shelf for it.

I wouldn't normally put a fan there, but I didn't like it in the bedroom, and I didn't want to throw it away either. It gets hot here so hopefully it will be useful. It's a little lower than I would like.

By the way I got that desk for free on craigslist.
Those suckers are heavy.
I don't know who uses those anymore.

Very clever. Both the hanging of the vanity and the method behind it! By the way is that a Harbor Freight lift cart?

yeah HF cart. I got it on thanksgiving with the 25% coupon.

The casters are surprisingly smooth. It rolls real nice.
I would like to lift something real heavy to test the limits of the cart.

I reused my old kitchen cabinets after our remodel this past spring. Gave them a coat of paint and hung them up last weekend.
