Didn't someone here on GJ actually make some of these for another member?

I'm thinking the "maker" was Kevin54 - but I'm not sure. Maybe someone else remembers better than I . . .

Cheers

Jim

this one was bought most likely at car show flea market
its got a part number on it but the search of that came up empty
of I had another of these I would drill and tap out for 5/8-11
going to make a from to adapter with 5/8 rod coupling,5/8 threaded rod
turned down to 1/2-20 if I can find a die. But best choice would be the right one.

I think I've seen those on the company's that sell buffing compounds and such.
3m makes a system using those.
I was looking around a site that sold the 2" grinding belts and one on them had. Sorry I couldn't help with names, but some direction.
McMaster Carr?
Pricey, but try Grainger.
please post what you find, I'm looking to for in the future.

wow pricey but guess they do exist

other option might be to find a smooth 1/2 with plenty of meat and tap it out to 5/8
