Guys I recently bought a Buffalo Forge Drill Press off Craigslist for 50 bucks. Or at least I thought it was. Turns our the head is Buffalo Forge, obviously from the pictures, the motor has been replaced with a Dayton, and since these older ones had the switch built into the motor mount that was replaced as well. The stranger part is the base and perhaps the column and table have been swapped with a Boice-Crane
setup. I assume that the column and table have been swapped because the head won't clamp tight to the column but the table and collar just below the head both do. If anyone has any options for fixing these issues including replacing the column, table and base with a more correct one. I would love to hear them. Thanks.
