I don't really have a bug issue,it just looked like a cool toy. I did see your thread on salt. Not sure where I stand on the subject, but don't take that to mean I feel you're doing anything bad.

I have one, it works. Hard to hit them while flying, works better to shoot them while they are landed. Fun for the kiddies, plus both me and my wife get a kick out of using it. Also fun is the electric fly swatter tennis racket thing from horrible freight.

We have many flies. Horses.

I have one of those cyclone vacuums. they all accumulate in late summer on the windows. fire that baby up and they hit that never lose suction whirlwind and explode. for some reason they can't escape the suction of the tube.

I use mine in the shop all the time.
I found that Sea salt works better, more knock-down power as it is a bit more coarse, like 00 buck.:)
I sometimes pour out a few drops of beer, while I watch Tv and when the little bustards gather to drink it, BAMM!! Happy Hour is over.:scared:

I have one and am now thinking of getting the new 2.0. It can lengthen the time it takes to get a project done in the shop. Every time you see a fly you want to grab the gun a blast it.

They're great. We would get mayflies in the office every year. I got a bug a salt as a gift and brought it to work last year. Kept it on top of a high book shelf where everyone would know where it was. We hunted those flies to extinction it was so fun. Did not see a single may fly this year unfortunately.

Don't have one (yet) but would assume they'd work great on spiders too. Lots of spiders in the garage this year.

I always wonder who comes up with ideas for things like this. Looks like fun but I think a good old fashioned fly swatter is more reliable , not to mention cost effective.
