I've used Ortho Home Defense with pretty good results. A co-worker of mine says he puts hedge apples in his garage to keep out spiders. He swears by it. But you can't find hedge apples in alot of areas of the country.

Seal up obvious holes, then move your stuff and vacuum the hell out of everything, floors, walls etc.

Then take your favorite bug killer and douche the hell out of the perimeter of the inside of your building.

Then get your favorite bug-killing granules and make a 6 foot wide moat around the outside of your building and spray the area including the lower portion of the wall.

After that, I generally only find dead bugs for about 3 months.

scorpions in GA? I always thought they were out west...
When did they arrive in GA?
Where they brought in by an illegal alien?:lol_hitti

They've been rocking it like a hurricane since 1984.:deathmeta

I use bayer insect spray, seems to keep everything down. I knocked off around 50 spiders with it this weekend.

I was going to suggest the Gecko's but someone beat me to it. I had a couple in my barracks room in Okinawa, they took care of the damn asian mosquitoes. Those things would leave welts for a week! Though waking up with one on the ceiling above your head was a bit weird.

Make sure when you spray, you spray outside the shop as well. Better to stop them outside then to kill them inside. Geckos will get their fill with the bird mosquitoes you all have down there.

I leave the spiders alone, for the most pasrt. I do however, go on a cobweb hunting spree every so often and clean 'em all out. They return shortly thereafter.. probably thinking "Ahh... clean slate!" They keep the other bugs away though, so.. eh.

A long time ago my grandma always got some sort of apple. It was about the size of an apple, but had a lot of "bumps" on the surface. I can't remember what they are called, and I've never seen them in stores (that I've noticed), she always said they did a good job of keeping bugs out.

Anyone tried those or know what they are?
