Building a Bowling Ball Vise....

Anyone tried a bowling ball vise? Saw the idea a while back, and was in a thrift shop today, and what to my surprise jumped off the shelf at me - a bowling ball, complete with case - for the princely sum of $3.50.

Oh yeah, the one with the ball strapped to the board is how that entrepreneur held his ball to cut it on the bandsaw.

Didn't see the thread (and i searched GJ several ways before posting), guess it's because "bowling ball" and "vise" weren't mentioned in the thread.

Had seen the video before, but couldn't find it again searching youtube. Guess my GoogleFue isn't working real well at the moment.

I typed "bowling ball vise garage journal" in google and it was the first thread shown.
I gave up on the thread search feature a long time ago.
"Bowling ball" bowling ball vise" and "vise" are all in the thread.

I think it is a cool idea but don't plan one in my future.
