Building a drawer for screws

A think this is the right section

A built shelfs and I have just thought a could be doing with somewhere to put nuts and bolts

So a was thinking of building a drawer (it was a after thought) as in 10 mins :willy_nil

How would a go about it

Just build a bunch of boxes with finger holes in the front that fit the shelf space. That way you can grab the whole box you need and take it to your work area, instead of running back and forth to the drawers.

Google wood bins. Then look at the images.

One of these days I'm gonna knock out a bunch of bins. If you've got the materials and once the saws are set up it would be about as easy to knock out a couple dozen as it would one.

Nice job !!! I have about 20 of the Stanley 25 bin boxes I use for my screw/nut/little stuff collections. I currently have them stacked on shelves like yours. I plan on doing something to slot/separate them so I can pull out any one without unstacking.

I like this thread. Not much to contribute at this point, I have mostly containers that have no permanent home.

My dad has what looks like a card file or similar, but it's definitely not as it's all thick steel (thick for drawers at least) and that's what I'm used to. Anything I build would resemble a card file because of that.
