Looks very nice. I like the offsetting colors over the doors. I never have any help with my projects which is why I own a framing nail gun. the hell with swing the hammer all day. LOL.

I may be wrong but shouldn't you have used a valley strip of sheet metal between the two roofs? The way the shingles are kinda layed out looks haphazard to me. Not a nice clean line at the addition

That is one way to do it, known as the open valley design, the other way is what I did and is known as the closed valley design.

Great job, I love old buildings and your addition turned out really nice. We used to do valleys like that all the time depending on what the customer wanted, don't remember ever being called back on one.

Nice work! I just finished a cottage addition that took two summers mostly by myself, I know the time it takes working alone - and the satisfaction when its done.

I'm a fan of the closed valley too, lots of them around here. Looks good.
