Building a Scaffolding

I hope this is the place to post this.

I am trying to build a tower scaffolding, and only was able to put together 2 Mason Frames with 2 Cross Bracess. Now, I have to attach the Diaganol Bracing to the Frames but can't find a place for them. Can you help please?

Diagonal bracing? Never seen it. Just mason frames and X-members.

The factory braces clamp on to the vertical tubes of the end frames. Some diagonal braces and also guard rails slip on to the lugs that hold the X-braces. I braced mine with two come-alongs in a X, and only on the bottom. It sure stiffened it up.

S Type Manson Frames have 2 little mechanism where the Cross Braces go through. The Diagonal Brace also have the same holes but no other place on Frames to put them too.

It sounds like you're trying to install the "gooser" brace to the scaffold? Here's a pic of one:

I went to the website you have given the link for and the Frame there is very similar to mine, but if you could go to the link below, please, you will find what Frame exactly I have:

As you see the Frame has 2 little metals sticking out (inside) at each side, and I used them for 2 Cross Braces and no place for the Gooser. This Gooser has exeactly the same ending with a hole.

It sounds like you must be missing the clamps that I've always seen used on goosers. Here's another pic:

It is good of you to bring that picture here. My purchase was for one complete system that goes up to 20 ft. I will only build up as high as in your picture for now since the Winter is here, and do the rest in the Spring. I didn't ask for any piece or part apart what was in the pre-arranged system. These are the components of it that is as advertised in their website and have received all of them, can't see anything like "clamps" among them:

Thank you Captain. That is a nice scaffolding, made from wood. did you make/build the whole thing yourself? Your building is also very interesting.

I am sure I can benefit from your experince. Just now I am stuck with "Diagonal Brace/Gooser", don't know how to connect it. I am disappointed with the company that sold it to me because they have no manuals.

I threw together a simple scaffold from scrap lumber when building my shop. I need some way to hang that sheetrock on the ceiling....

13' is pretty high

That is great IDASHO.. Did you know that you could buy a Drywall Lifter reaching up 16 ft?

I didnt use the scaffold to lift the sheetrock.

Thats what a sheetrock lift is for.

You still have to get up there to attach it, tape it, and mud it.

I threw together a simple scaffold from scrap lumber when building my shop. I need some way to hang that sheetrock on the ceiling....

13' is pretty high

Here's one I did for hanging the steel ceiling and walls in my shop.
Only mistake I made was using pneumatic tires, no matter how much air I put in them they still bounced and swayed.

You should see what they were using when I was in India. I was scared just looking at it.
