Building a second floor room inside a pole barn?

I purchased a new home in August and have been slowly redoing the shop. It is a 30x50 with 10 foot ceilings. The building itself was sound but the previous owner had hacked a lot of things together so I am basically gutting it, insulation, interior dividing walls, wiring, etc is all coming out. I is a slow go because I need to work around all of my equipment that is already there.

I need a higher ceiling so I pulled all of the insulation down from the ceiling, I have someone coming tomorrow to take measurements for scissor trusses that they say the can build that I can install from the inside without ripping the roof off. I took some measurements and I have about 5 feet from the bottom of the trusses to the peak of the roof. I am considering building a room on the one end of the building that will be 8-10' wide x 30' deep. If I build the room 8 feet tall that will give me enough space for a second floor above that room. I would use it just for store but I would need to rework the roof support so I can remove the truss work. I am thinking of sister a 2x6 to the existing 2x4 top cord and building knee walls at the half way point of the upper cord which would make the second floor about 15' deep.

Not sure if I am explaining that very well but I am wondering if anyone has ever done anything like this and has pictures. Any advise would be appreciated.

So how is this going? I understand that you converted a few trusses to the scissor type. Any information, or pictures?
