Building garage. Looking for cost effective, quality floor.

Plan to build a 30x40 stick built. I would like a stem wall to keep the lumber off the ground. I plan to install a 2 post lift down the road, not sure where in the garage yet. Would like the floor flat and level, assume will need a slope by the roll up doors? What do I need to look for when getting a slab quoted? Again, not looking for a Cadillac, just a quality floor that will last the test of time.

i just had mine done, 40x48, 6 inches thick with highway mesh and i believe it was 3000psi concrete with a smooth finish, i believe it has to be 5in minimum for a lift, at least thats what rotary's website says. but you could always just pour it thicker where the lift will be .

Did mine with 4k psi. Stuff is so tough. Op you will be looking at an Alaskan slab aka thickened edge slab. Read up on it. I did 6in for the whole thing. I also did a one foot stem wall which they poured after. Had a local guy do it. Pros wanted twice the price and a year to wait. Learn about soil compaction as that is more important then any pour. I only used rebar around the perimeter and mesh in the center.
