You bought a building but don't have a foundation?
I am guessing you mean you bought some kind of prefab or kit?
If what you need is a slab or rim of concrete, in my experience, any good concrete contractor with a reputation to protect will either have on staff or a working relationship with an engineer.
They will have a working relationship with the local inspectors also.
Hire out the concrete work.
It will cost, but it is a lot easier on your back, it will be done a whole lot faster, you get a professional job, and a good starting point from which to work from.

Yeah that's about how much they wanted here to do my 50X100 foundation. All the building department really wanted is an engineer with a PE to sign it and take the heat off them. So I had my buddy (the Hwy bridge PE )design it. The Building board approved it asap but the concrete guys howled and yelled when they saw the "Grade beam" he designed for the footings.... Who the hell spec'ed this they whined, there is a ton of extra concrete in there. I then asked them how much all that extra material was costing me and they said $4-500 more and I told them to shut up and build it as the plan had only cost me a dinner not the $1500....
