Building house, footer does not match floorplan - normal?

In the process of building a house with a national builder.

They just poured the footers and the footers do not match the floorplan of the house. Is this typical construction or did they mess up?

The picture is of the rear wall's footer. far corner is the morning room bumpout and should be indented a foot or two vs the extended family room. the morning room and family room's footers are straight - unlike the floorplan.

Thoughts?

The horse shoe shaped footers nearest to the photo are for the walkout

Ask your builder. Typically the foundation wall would rest on top of the footer - yes.

Bumpouts are quite often cantilevered. That would not match the footing plan.

Check the actual architectural plans for the house. The structural pages will detail the footer plan.

Is there a model that you can look at?

My guess is that the family room bump out is going to be cantilevered over the foundation. Pretty standard detail as long as they remember to insulate that space. Having any HVAC ductwork in the cantilevered floor section would mean reduced insulation and overall thermal performance and probably frost in winter weather.

I would want to know how they plan to seal the bottom of the projected space from water, bugs, and rodents too.

Thanks. Turns out the online floorplan is old (online) and that the morning room is 2 ft longer and is flush with the rear of the house (he showed me more detailed construction drawing).
