Wheels look great Don! What are the spec's? Curious, are those from Schott?
Yes they are. A little pricy but I'm very happy with them.
I'm not sure of the current tire size but they are about what came off and they were Fronts 235/60/15
Rears were 295/50/15
The truck is back in the trans shop today. Had an electrical short against the trans and it burned out the front bearing or something like that

I was trying to hit the highlights that I could remember, I was bound to miss a bunch!!!🤭
Love the Schott wheels - I have a set of them in my ‘60 Corvette. They really finish this car!

Glad to see you worked out some of the bugs so your ELCO can start showing off.

Very nice winning award at its first showing and you don’t even have the wood bed installed.

Very well done sir!!!
Don is like the Chuck Norris of car shows. The trophy just imagined what it was going to look like when it was completed and presented itself.

What an honor, I got a phone call from Don as he was passing through on his way to the Hersey swap meet and wanted to stop by to see The Little Party Garage, AKA DaBarn, he had Ed Tolman with him from the model A Ford Club. I had a blast talking to these fine gentlemen. I still have the Big Party Garage on my bucket list.

Don, what other treasures did you pick up at the swap meet?

I thought that I had posted these shots of my treasure hunt at Hershey but I don't see um so I'll do it now.
Here is the pile of treasures minus the Totum pole
An Alemite oil catch can,
A Lincoln Servmobile,
An old ship lamp (I think)
A Kellogg cereal rack
An Auto Club Motel sign
A short Sinclair gas sign
A bird cage for Ann's country store
A glass kerosene carrier with a tin outer shell
An old hand drill
A couple of blow torches
A lamp to go on my Blackhawk tool chest (red rover)
And a gas tank for the 1928 Durant sedan
And lastly All the parts needed for the Air meter that I picked up last year

I have been working on a couple of smaller projects these last few weeks in between a slug of Dr appts.
I started with this Blackhawk Porto power tool chest and tools

1.jpgIMG_8776.JPG

First I sent the box out to the powder coater for a quick sand blast and white paint. While it was out I sand blasted and cleaned up all the parts that go with the set. Then I primed and painted the pieces

IMG_8852.JPGIMG_9235.JPG

I polished a few of the flat surfaces for some bling in the box.

I knew the box needed some body work on the dents but couldn't do it til the inside of the box was powder coated so when I got it back I worked on the outside of the box. Then gave it a coat of white paint

IMG_8786.JPGIMG_8896.JPG

And yesterday I hung the box on the wall and filled it with the tools and put a couple of decals on the box. I'm waiting for the big one that foes on the inside circle then this project will be in the booksIMG_9239.JPG

Now I can display these boxws one closed and the other one open

My latest project is for the Diner. The Kellogg cereal rack I figured would be a quicky.

1.JPG

So I through it into the sand blaster and cleaned all the old paint off of it. Then took a few of the big dents out of it before priming it.

IMG_9232.JPG

I took the accent bars off of the box and prepped them and painted them a high metalic silver and preped and painted the rack a bright red then put the silver bars back on the rack and it will go over to my sign painter to have the top lettered again then this one is done too.

It says WE Suggest Kellogg Cereals
