Don, the nighttime shots were worth the wait! I hope your power company gives you commercial rates. o_O
Best of luck on your surgery and I wish you a speedy recovery, all that rusty gold is not going to polish itself!

Wishing the same for you!

Don, I'm sending you all my best luck. It's old and faded but it still works. Take whatever time you need to fully recover, you don't want to have to do this twice.

Here is what I've been waiting for for some time. Night shots of my garage with all the outside lights burning.
The place is too big to get them all in one shot

Okay now you done it. I was going through the post and these last two pictures caught my brides attention. She is ready for a road trip that includes a stop to see you and Ann. Her reaction to the lighted pictures was just simply "WOW"

I'd prefer to think of it as sending "experienced" luck.

I'm sending some of that myself....

As usual you did wonders with that sign. The last picture in your post above gives me a feeling of a time before I was born, nice!

Wow guys.
what a response to my request. I'm so humbled by it.
The good news is your thoughts and prayers worked wonders.
I'm home already with little pain and good motion of my head. I'll be absent from my shop for about a week (my choice) to mend completely.
I want to thank each and every one of you guys. The friendship here is priceless

GOOD to hear, Don!

If they left bolts sticking out of each side of your neck like Frankenstein you can have them chrome plated and pinstriped and you’ll blend right in with some of your restored stuff!

Kidding aside, smart to loaf a few day and let every urge subside to do things you shouldn’t.

Success!, That's what I like to hear!
Have a good and careful mend. Just cause you're feeling well soon-don't get back out there too soon and overdo it.

Don, I may have sent too much luck. My neck is a little sore today. You are doing the right thing to give it a little time to heal completely. Liane constantly reminds me the disastrous episodes of me returning to work too soon.

Make sure to rest and do the rehab before you get back at it which I’m sure is your plan. Happy to hear all went well so hope you have some good ice cream and a few good movies or tv show to watch while you take a well deserved rest.
Cheers!!

I've always heard that the physical therapy is the most critical part of 100% recovery and that it hurts like hell. And if it doesnt you're not doing it right! Lol

Stay right where you are and watch more westerns! It'll all be there when you get back to it. And it'll be more fun to work on since it will hurt less the longer you wait!

After my head injury I was not allowed to stand up other than to go to the bathroom for two weeks. I nearly went insane. Well, more insane than usual. Then it was two weeks of not lifting anything heavier than 10 pounds. And two weeks at 20 pounds. Something about having two holes cut in my head and my brain squirting out. All I could think of was the things I had to do.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. It is working.
I'm off the hard drugs and just doing a jig saw puzzle to pass the time.

I did get a nice surprise today. I've been hunting for an old Michelin Man Compressor and found one in an auction last week and I won it and it was delivered today.
It will need a little TLC soon

A great addition to my small air compressor collection
