I have a truck to tow, so i was thinking about getting a travel trailer or a 5th wheel. I saw someone use a garbage truck for this once it was two story and bad ***

do not try and move the water related stuff...more of a nightmare than you want to get into.

it was designed to work only in that layout

Thanks for the link, the rest of my day is shot.

No problem, I spent a couple of days a while back, but I sold the skool bus. Looking to find a prevost now, an old one, but not too old, a cheap one, but not too cheap. I don't think I am going to find one this decade, maybe in the 2020s.

Man, google vintage travel trailer and add whatever qualifier you can think of. Tons of sites out there that do just that. Usually <34', but the process is the same for all. Google beechwood beauties, Spartan Manor and spend about a week at this site. They use "full monte" for a total off the frame rehab.

If you are interested in redoing a trailer here is the best site I have found. I have two vintage trailers I rebuilt. If its just a place to live nuttsgt has a good idea. Just find one liveable now and don't put too much money in it. Think of it this way do you drive a vintage or collectable auto every day? Most wouldn't due to cost or it being damaged. Most people who get into vintage campers do it for a hobby and it would be cheaper just to find one ready to go. If you get into fixing leaks on a rv the ccost can add up quick. Don't forget a old mobile home. We bought one for my wifes beauty shop. When we built our house put a shop in it and didn't need a mobile home anymore. We paid 4000 for it and sold it for 4000. Most people here just use a mobile home while building a house. Keep in mind on RVs and mobile homes they are made inside out. Its a pain to get the screws out of the side of the wall where they put them in from the outside.
