I just drew my own, contact your local community office or county office and see if they accept self drawn plans it'll save you

Not nearly enough info in your post.
First off, without a location, we can only make a guess at what your city/county needs for a plan. Call your local jurisdiction and figure out what they need - it'll run the range from "nothing" to "sketch on a napkin" to "engineered drawings that include foundation, electrical and plumbing".

Go see your local Lumber Yard, they may have plans that are part of a “Garage Package” that are appropriate to your location. Standard Plans may be easily modified to your personal taste. With a Package Deal, you can negotiate for delivery and other things too.
Hi tom23, I'm also trying to get about 26x26 garage plan. I'm sure as you know, if you google for "garage plans," you'll get lots of links like to sites for home plans like familyhomeplans.com, eplans.com, architecturaldesigns.com, but also thegarageplanshop.com, justgarageplans.com, etc. Most plans cost at least upper hundres but includes elevations, foundation plan, framing plan, cross sections, electrical, plumbing & HVAC layout.
Based on comments here, I went to Menards, a big box store, and saw printed plans, some same as those online, very much under $100.

If you don't need cross sections, electrical, etc., or know enough to draw, I guess you could modify an existing plan.
I haven't yet decided to go with Ryan or 2 local architects I just found.

I was able to get a permit with my menards garage designer printout. Each jurisdiction is different, but for most, that should be fine.

You can do from their website, but most stores have computers for you to use as well.

Here in Miami Ok all that is required is a sketch for simple single story. @ story will require an enginers stamp on the plans. also need drawing of the lot and existing structures. you are only allowed 30% of lot in structures.
Were you able to find a garage plan of the size you're looking for? I just remembered the plans at cadnw.com are relatively inexpensive. But only if you can find your size, I guess.
I'll need to have my drawn because I can't find what I'm looking for.
If you have to get permits --- that should be your first stop. Your town official ...Understand what's required up front.
In my neck of the woods you need drawings. Any suburban property will have some issue with placement and and issue. If it's conditioned it has to pass an insulation code.

I'd give the local yard a shot. My guys drew working prints off a floor plan I sketched. They also delivered quality lumber to my site.
