Bulb Socket help

OK I am fixing a light out of our church that the socket has failed. Contact is shot and porcelain is cracked.

Challenge is how it mounts into the CapriLighting fixture by two machine screws. See pictures below.

Obviously the Socket is removed from fixture.

Someone bought a replacement socket but it mounts totally different and before I spend too much time trying to make it work, I would love to find a source for a direct fit.

The old socket actually has brass threaded inserts in the porcelain for the machine screw to mount to.

That is my challenge - all I can find are like the link you shared w/ through holes.

A touch of hot melt glue and a pair of nuts, and those holes become threaded inserts.

Some of these sockets have Halogen bulbs in them, don't want to risk using an adhesive to "make" something work.

If it was my own I'd figure it out, being not mine I will keep looking.

if you put the nut inside the socket they will sandwich the socket .
or
put the screw thru the socket & nut on the backside of the socket. then your mounting bar can slide over the screws. use nuts on the now studs

I think I may have found it, while not installed like Leviton shows, dimensions look very similar.

Going to order one and see what works best.
Will eventually be rebuilding several fixtures so want it easy and repeatable.

The adhesive only needs to keep the nut from falling out while you're screwing it together. Gum would work too. Once assembled, the bolt holds the nut in place.

But yeah, if you can find one with the threaded insert, it will make the job easier, and if you'll be doing a few, it's worth the time to search.

I ordered a couple to see what works best.

Guess I just needed to look harder, (past the pictures) the threads are fairly common but screws are put in the opposite way on MFG's websites in all pictures.
