We just added over 20 colors of decorative flakes to the SUPERCOAT website... and they are priced to move. The first pound is $10 and each additional pound is only $7.50... SHIPPING INCLUDED!!!

Check around. No one is touching that price. I'm not sure how long this will last, so I wanted to let the Garage Journal Board know about it first. Thanks...

Alright - we'll jump in the pool.

1 - 4 lbs., $7.20/lb
5 - 49 lbs., $3.90/lb
50 - 99 lbs., $3.60/lb
100+ $3.45

28 standard colors, made in the USofA.

Now for shipping figure that for any quantity over 15 lbs the max s&h is around $1 per pound, and for most delivery addresses it's less. I suppose we could simplify things by just upping the price for everyone, but this just seems a bit more fair. Plus for most of you this way is less expensive.

Just let us know how many pounds or the look you'd like and your delivery zip and we'll do the math for you.

Been lurking as a guest for a while, but I thought I would sign in to ask about this. I was using the estimator on your site and for an 850 sq ft. garage it recommended 69 pounds for 310.50. Thats 4.50/lb plus shipping when you just quoted it should be 3.60. I'm getting the keys to my new house in about two weeks and am price shopping various floors, so I'm curious, are all the prices in your estimator overpriced similarly, or is that a decent estimate of the price?

Some of the prices on the website are different than our call in prices - it has to do with the shipping module of the shopping cart, they had problems with the varying weights of some of the items, so they rolled shipping fee estimates into the price of those products. We hope to have them matching soon, but for now you'll get the best total prices with a phone order.

Also if you order more than one flake color and would like them shipped blended it's a few cents more per pound than if you have them sent a separate colors. Besides being less expensive getting the colors separate allows you to tweak the final blend, a bit more of this, a bit less of that. Then just toss them in a large can or garbage bag to mix 'em up.

In your case 70 pounds of individual colors would be $252, and blended they'd be $287, plus shipping which depends on delivery address and the weight of the total order, which might be pretty low since the order would probably qualify for freight.

I think the only other web prices that are different are those for 3 gallon kits of BondTite and LiquaTile, on the website they're $10 more per kit than over the phone.

BTW - those flake prices are our everyday prices.

I see you're in OKC. How do I get in contact with you? Are these Supercoats in stock? I'm ready to buy, if the price is right.

Boy I'm glad I buy direct from one of the biggest and oldest deco chip manufactures in the US. Of course I do purchase 200 or more lbs at a time and I pay less then half what the best price I saw here posted. I would bet most of the epoxy companies here are 2-tier dist. for the chip and the epoxies as well in most cases.

Anyone want to up the ante and pay me for taking flakes off your hands?

Interesting challenge - And we'll go for it!

We have about 10 pounds of mixed Red & Black DecoFlakes available and we'll pay you $1 to take it off our hands!

The only thing we ask in return is that you order the epoxy coating system from us at the same time.

"BUT WAIT! I DON'T WANT RED & BLACK DECOFLAKES, I WANT BLACK & ORANGE FLAKES INSTEAD"

First: Please stop yelling.

Second: Fair enough, everyone has their favorite colors, but we can work around that small detail. For all October we'll include a free pound of DecoFlakes, in your choice of colors, for every 100 square feet worth of coatings you order. Examples: if you order enough of our epoxy for 600 square feet we'll include 6 lbs of DecoFlakes, if you order enough LiquaTile for 500 square feet of floor we'll include 5 pounds of DecoFlakes at no additional cost etc. Plus each qualifying order will also receive a $1 credit to apply to any other item in the order.

And now here's the fine print from our legal team at PrePaid Legal:
