Bull, this one's for you - Fleet Tools

My first socket set, 3/8" drive, used to be my dad's. Still gets regular use. But the ratchet isn't a Fleet...and neither is the 6" ext....don't know what happened to the original ratchet. I never saw it.

1/2" drive ratchet and set, missing a couple sockets. This and some other stuff including a Stanley 30 ft. tape measure was bought for $10 a couple years ago

and a couple of misc. wrenches

I like it all, and the one you bought you got a great deal on! If I end up with a spare 3/8 to fit that set from your dad, I'll send it your way.

I think the ratchets feel quite nice.

The ratchet cut-out on that 3/8" drive set, appears to be for a pear-shaped head?
The 3/8" drive Fleet ratchet I have, is a round head,fine tooth.....and is IS quite nice!
I saw a Penens 1/2" drive ratchet that looked identical to that 1/2" drive Fleet ratchet.....so WHO manufactured both ratchets?

Proto made all 3 brands as far as I'm aware. I also havea Penens that is shaped just like the Fleet.

Another guy here that has a Penen's identical to the Fleet. Great old ratchets!

I was going to chime in with my Penens ratchet, but I guess I'm late to the party. Like everyone said though, definitely Pendleton.
