I forgot to mention: prices do not include shipping. US Postal money orders only, please. Actually, it is possible to pay me through Paypal, by sending me money as a "gift." It involves trust, though, since there are no buyer protections this way. So, perhaps a good option for people who have come to know me and my ethics.

For your consideration, I have the following:

A number of Craftsman pieces.
DSCN3238.jpg

Older style with the metal selector. 1/2 drive at top, two 1/4 drives below that. All have been disassembled, inspected, cleaned, and lubed with Permatex. $12 for the 1/2 drive, $8 each for the 1/4 drives.

Newer style with the plastic selector. The 1/2 drive seems new...even has most of the barcode sticker on the back of the handle. Both have been disassembled, inspected, cleaned, and lubed with Permatex. $14 for the 1/2 drive, $6 for the 1/4 drive.

Desirable RHFT w/quick release in 1/2 and 3/8 drive. Both are in overall good condition, work well in both directions. The "guts" seem a bit wobbly in the head, but I see no damage and they function 100% correctly in forward and reverse. Cleaned, lubed, inspected. $14 for the 3/8. 1/2 is SOLD

The newer "tri-wing" style in 3/8 and an older version in 1/4. The 3/8 is nice...fine tooth, nice feel in the hand, smoth action. Just like the SK ratchets of this style. I did NOT disassemble and clean/lube this one...set screw on top feels like it has Loctite on it, which this style calls for. My Torx started to slip so I backed off. Both ratchets work well. $10 for the 3/8 and $5 for the 1/4.

3/8 sliding t-bar with old Craftsman script. SOLD

Now for the non-Craftsman stuff. First are two Proto 1/2 drives. They both have same part number on back cover, but the one on top has a thicker handle and feels a bit heavier. That one has an allen screw someone stuck in there...goes in crooked. Easily replaced with a few cents spent at the hardware store. Otherwise, both ratchets have been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and lubed. Permatex makes these feel GREAT...very low back-drag. $10 each. Sale pending on the top Proto

Overseas Blackhawk and Husky in 1/2. This is a 2-for-1 special. The Blackhawk looks little-used and has been cleaned and lubed. Permatex makes the action feel acceptable. The Husky has interchangeable guts and body with the Blackhawk...it is a dual-pawl design but missing one pawl. Still works in both directions just fine, but it is using only one pawl instead of two. Throw them in your junkyard box or trunk tool kit...damage one, use the parts from the other to repair. $8 for the pair.

Allenite and Thorsen 1/2 and a US Made "Pocket Socket." Allenite is VERY clean, and has been inspected and lubed. A nice oddball. $12. Thorsen works 100% but has lived a hard life. $7. Pocket Socket is very clean, looks new. $3.

I edited a couple of the prices for the non-Craftsman items above. In addition, I have put together a Craftsman package (and two Hsky/Blackhawk pieces that share internals with tri-wing C-mans) below. All the tools in the picture below are for $50 plus shipping.

Damn, this is a CRAZY deal! :shocking:

If I hadn't just bought the package deal posted elsewhere, I would be ALL OVER THIS!

Someone buy this and put me out of my misery!

I'm interested in the speed handles; any interest in selling those separately?

Thanks!

That pocket socket gizmo is very handy for holding a punch or chisel too.
If I didn't already have a dedicated punch holder and another tool similar to the pocket socket I'd grab it.

Hmmm...I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the info...since no one is buying this one, at least I know it has a couple things I can use it for!

I wish you had piped up sooner, Jack. All the C-man items were traded away to Wildman. I got sick of looking at them, and not being able to move them at donation prices!

I have a Plomb WF speeder if you are interested, and its purchase includes two no-name (assume foreign) speeders.

Got any pics of the speeder? Thank you.

I can put one up here in a little bit. Or, if you search the classifieds for a recent post by my that has a title something like "Small Plomb WF/Proto Lot" you can see a pic or three.
