does anyone other than tool truckers use this for tool storage? either in a service vehicle or in the garage. i am planning on lacing up some board and am looking on feedback for the best bungee stock to use, as well as the best lacing pattern for versitility.

Guys, Hope there is someone out there that has examples. Seems to be neat way to store stuff on a shadow board. Hope someone chimes in.

my idea is to obviously lace the shock cord through the holes in the board and simply tie knots on the end of the runs to sucure the cord. i guess i will have to experiment with the tension ans the pattern it is laced. i am going for a pattern that would give me the ability to store odd shaped items as well as the small things like screwdrivers etc.
once i have time to play with it ill put some pics up.

We laced up some pegboard like that in our race car trailer. It worked pretty good for spare parts which you often needed in a hurry and having them visible on a board was nice. We didn't have too many tools there and I probably wouldn't want often used items there - it was cumbersome at times to get things off/out 1 handed
