I need to run cat6 cable and a similar diameter 0-10 v dimmer cable into a number of steel junction boxes for a CA-approved lighting system. Can anyone recommend a bushing or cord grip to get the cord into the box at a 1/2" knock out?

Thus far I have found relatively cheap ($0.50 each) bushings that dont grip the cord well (https://rexel-cdn.com/Products/MorrisProducts/22348.pdf?i=54A702A5-D5BA-4E94-9B5E-B28B03FDD065). I have also found cable glands that grip cords very tightly but prices seem to start at $2 each.

thanks for any suggestions

Not sure if metal clamp ok. Probably not UL listed for this purpose but the cord grips probably aren’t either. I’ll talk to inspector before proceeding.

They make rubber grommets that fit in a 1/2" KO for this. I dont know if they make a cord grip that will go that small for your cable. As already said, romex connectors will work also, I like the plastic ones mad by Dottie.
