Any reviews or thoughts on Butler steel buildings looking for the good, bad & the ugly. Pannels have less warranty than some of the others against fade so I was just curious.

Thanks

Butler got into the steel building business a long time ago, and have done enough business to spread their name around. They made sure it was on the peak end cap of every building they sold/built so everyone would see it. Nothing unusual about them, typical building, so it hinges on the price and do they offer what you want.

Butler tends to be expensive compared to the rest of the field. Watch panel warranties very carefully. Some companies advertise the warranty but you may have to pay extra for it.

My Father used to build his own Butler buildings, largest being a bit over 82,000 sq ft.

That building is now almost 20 years old and no problems I know of.

FIL used to work construction for a company that started out doing polebldgs before moving onto more commercial construction. They still do some Butler bldgs and I've never heard the guys talk bad about them. The only reason they moved away from being a dealer for them was a price issue. .. . more $$.
