Good list. Not crapping on you, but there are some errors. Cougar, for example was shot on the Serengeti :lol: (out of business) and bought by Pajar.

Also what are we calling Canadian? Many of those companies are just importers of Chinese or other foreign boots. Some like Pajar make an expensive line in Canada, but much of their product is foreign.

Scooby you just reminded me I used to buy the Canadian boots for work. I always liked a pull on, no laces to deal with and they had a good fit. I probably have 3 pairs of these laying around in strategic locations. 😂 And in varying stages of their life cycle. This pair is about 6’ away from my “Palliser” easy chair in our foyer. Not only the best ice cream, but a really "good guy" in the business world. When they had that devasting fire that shut them down, they continued to pay their 350 employees........how many companies would do that in a time of crisis? They didn't toot their own horn below, I did it for them.

I have a feeling the working environment would be amazing. While reading the enclosure I thought the following was worth repeating.

At the moment we are flying from Saskatoon to Toronto on Porter Airlines. Free on board wifi, snacks and beer. I think I’d fly with them again. Mind you only 2 beer selections, Moose Head and Cracked Canoe both fine beers. I thought they might have stocked some Toronto Steam Whistle but maybe next time. The snacks were also Canadian, Three Farms not bad if you like crunchy with a little heat.
I’d probably would fly Porter again, well at least home for sure. 😉

Oddly enough it was founded in St.Paul MN. And is currently headquartered in MN as well. However they have a much larger presence in Canada.

This has probably already been mentioned, but Megapro is a US/Canadian company that makes excellent multi-bit screwdrivers.

Their non-ratcheting drivers are made in USA, but their ratcheting ones are made in Canada. They are the manufacturer of the LTT screwdriver.

I had a pair of vibergs 20 years ago, they had a store in central BC.

Incredible quality. Nothing else compares.

I would point out that a lot of the MegaPro screwdrivers have brand specific bits. The automotive version of the ratcheting screwdriver uses standard 1/4” hex bits. I would suggest this one.

It also has a bit cartridge for holding the bits in the handle so they don’t rattle.

My buddy was supposed to print me a version of the cartridge for the Snap-on ratcheting screwdriver…

I thought about buying a 3D printer just so I could do that sort of thing. I really want to print a couple holders for my snap-on ratcheting screwdrivers

Whenever I ever consider doing that, I get my buddy to print one from a free file or just buy whatever off Etsy.

I had a friend of a friend who dated a Viberg. She was a beautiful, and on top of that, a gymnast.

I just want to give a shout out to Olsa Tools regarding their metric flex head ratcheting wrench set. I replaced rotors and pads on two of our vehicles in the past few weeks and they came in handy. Excellent quality and proud to have purchased them here in Ohio. I don’t remember if they were made in Taiwan or China, but either way.. I’m happy with my purchase. 🇨🇦

It was a detached garage, so lucky for me, the house was mostly ok. There were a lot of very nice tools in there though.

It's weird each time I think to go do something only to realize - I don't have the tool anymore. Haven't had that experience in a LONG time.

I hope the insurance company sorts out the contents soon.

Thats terrible, glad the house was OK. Having had a pretty large insurance claim recently (not fire, but water damage) it was a death match to get the insurance company to pay up, they did eventually. Hopefully your process is easier.

Also have crave. I don't do cbc, but have had Britbox. I usually wait till they have a 3 mos for 10 bucks offer. Acorn is another good British channel streaming in Canada.

We have Crave as part of our TV package.

CTV has most of the shows they air online for free and a lot of older shows especially their own they have all seasons available. The only catch is you have to sit thru ads where the commercials would have been.
