Buying just the bins for harbor freight storage cases?

We've all come to love the harbor freight storage cases and I've been super happy with them. Unfortunately because each case comes with a given number of large/medium/small bins that also means I've had to buy a bunch of cases just to shift bins around - and I've finally ended up with the inevitable 2 small screws in a large bin situation with a bunch of them.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this, besides just overbuying? Ideally harbor freight would sell packs of bins.

I have more questions than answers.
I had some small bin boxes that I used until I used them up. Since then I've used cardboard and duct tape too make the size I needed. Most don't have any real pressure. Not pretty but functional until I get something better.

I have to admit they work better than I would ever guessed so I'm not looking hard to change.

Cardboard and duct tape here too. I keep thinking that to step it up a bit one could buy a small sheet of plexiglass, cut dividers, and glue them in position. Been retired for 6 yrs now and haven't found the time.

There was some discussion on the big rack thread for these but I don't remember the outcome.

I ended up with a bunch of extras once I added bolts longer than 3" or added tools that go with the stuff in the bins.

That's what I did after I discovered that you can remove bins, and the remaining ones will still be locked in place. For instance, I removed a number of them from my pop rivet organizer so the tool fits in there. It is frustrating that HF doesn't appear to offer just the bins- they could sell a million of them. Still, when on sale, the whole thing is so cheap you could buy them just for the bins. I have 16 of the organizers, and have worked it out pretty well. Still need to build a rack for them, though.

I have used technique for other endeavours, a similar approach using cereal boxes or bristol board and "MacTac" for purpose built storage boxes, [a hot glue gun and tabs precut in your blank will increase stiffness but will add a luittle bulk] I hadn't thought about those in a while and just last week that solution came screaming through my head [lots of room in this giant noggin and little in there to be in the way] Just another way to do the same thing just then you can "personalize" them this way! Here is an Amazon search of this product: https://www.amazon.ca/mactac/s?k=mactac It is very similar to shelf paper, I am not aware if this is available in the US by this name, I've never noticed it there but I wasn't looking either.
