Like I have shared bfor, it is'nt like Snappy reps have not had ample opportunites to provide good warranty service through the years, I have had bad warranty service with most of 10 reps in three different states through the years, and not one has delivered good warranty service for me. I guess I could understand it if I approached each one like some kind of A hole, however that has never been the case. I would like to think you catch more flies with honey so to speak, however I have not found that approach to be very effective with the Snappy reps I have dealt with. As a result I have come to the conclusions that I shared a few threads back. Don't for a minute get me wrong, I have quite a few Snappy tools that I use often and really enjoy using, it's just lack of service after the sale that has never ever, not once worked for me. With that said, I will finish by adding that I have never had a problem even once getting warranty service with Cman tools.

I've worked in a dealer service dept. since March of '01. I started on the lube rack, went to an apprentice program for 3 1/2 years, and now I am a Service Advisor. Through all of that , the Mac Tools and Matco Tools salesmen barely said Hi to me. The Snap On salesmen has always been nice and never questioned warrenty on any tool I turned in. I still buy tools from him, although not as often. Most of the guys in the shop treat him very poorly, I have always treated him, and any other tool salesman that comes in, with respect and I never have a problem with him. I think alot of the problem with warrenty issues is how the salesman is treated on a regular basis. Some Snap On salesmen think that since they sell for Snap On, they don't have to treat the customer very good because of thier high end product. I think this over confidence is part of the attitude some of you may be getting from the dealer. I think building a good relationship with the dealer will help you out, in the long run, with prices and with warrenty replacement. Just my thoughts, I know there is one bad apple in every batch, but sometimes it seems most of the bad apples own a Snap On franchise.

after I grad from H.s. i worked as a motorcycle mechanic in Indiana an the snap on guy ( Norman aka stormin Norman) was cool to me an helped me out with my first tools and rollerbox , when I didn't have the dough be bumped it till the nextweek for me and in return I paid my bill as soon as possible , we didn't have a mac or matco guy out there . when I moved to the big city and was going to college i worked at a firestone dealer we had all three reps and the best guy was matco guy and the worst was the Snap on rep . he tried to take my line wrenches saying I owed money on them , funny I bought them from Norm in indiana ( had the reciept to prove it ) needless to say that was the last time we saw that theiving a** around there as my manager was looking for a way to kick him out , the second bad dealing with a S-O dealer was about 2 months ago when one of our mechanics caught the guy putting a decal/sticker on the senior mechanic New Matco roller cab. when he found out he litterally threw him out of the shop . ( the little wirey guys you got to watch out for ) and told him not to come back and he called Kenohsa to Bit** . needless to say the matco guy is more than welcome now. I even deal with him when I am in the shop (gave me a free tee) it seems like in different areas the dealers attitude are different .
